Marcio studied music with the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He worked on various projects with vocal groups, orchestras and small ensembles. Currently, Marcio is working regularly with Isabel Calado and their PortugueseMusic.net project, which took them around the world. Marcio has completed training with Nikki Slade in Kirtan and is now developing this side of devotional and therapeutic music.

Marcio started with Yoga in 2015 and his training in 2017. He studied with Yogchariya Jnandev and Yogacharina Deepika, Yoga Satsanga and Gurukula schools. He opened his yoga studio in Farnborough in 2019, though due to COVID he had to let go of his "little oasis" as people called it, though he is working on reopening the site.

Marcio is partnering with Gurukula and Yogachariya Jnandev to bring their training, some of which they will host together, to the internet, making it more affordable without losing its quality.
